Mango Condensed Milk Smoothie
Why this recipe works
- Ready quickly: Everything is blended from fresh fruit, dairy and ice, making this a fast drink with very little prep.
- Thick and creamy: Ripe mango and condensed milk give the smoothie body, while ice makes it frosty without needing extra steps.
- Balanced sweetness: Lime cuts through the richness of the condensed milk and keeps the mango flavour bright.

Ingredient notes
- Choose a ripe mango: A fully ripe mango gives the best natural sweetness, stronger aroma and smoother texture.
- Adjust the sweetness: Condensed milk is both sweetener and creamy base, so add it gradually if you prefer a less sweet drink.
- Use citrus to sharpen the flavour: Lime adds a clean finish; lemon works too if that is what you have.
Texture tips
- For easier blending: If the mixture is too thick for the blender to catch, add a small splash of cold milk and blend briefly.
- Blend in stages: Blend the mango and milk mixture until smooth before adding ice, which helps avoid fibrous or uneven pieces.
- Stop once frosty: After the ice has broken down, stop blending so the drink stays thick and cold rather than loose.
Timing notes
- Serve straight away: The smoothie is at its best immediately, while the ice is still frosty and the texture is thick.
- Best freshly made: It can be refrigerated briefly, but the texture will settle; re-blend with fresh ice before serving.
